Yamaha Studio Lord SL700S Les Paul Style (Used)

Yamaha SL700S Studio Lord. A true piece of late 70s rock goodness, this cherry burst LP has been well cared for over the years. The original owner even kept a clipping of the catalogue in the case for this exact model. Featuring a slab of mahogany capped with maple for the body, a maple neck and rosewood fretboard, this has the hallmarks of a good 70s style LP. The electronics consist of a set of Yamahas own hot rodded PAF style pickups with push/push tone pots to coil tap each one. These can cover more than just the heavy stuff, easily riding softer passages before riffing out. 

Frets are in decent condition with no buzz. There is some separation of the binding in the cutaway and the upper end of the fretboard, however it's quite minor and stable. There are some scratches and marks with the only major issue being a lacquer chip on the edge. For a 45 year old guitar it's in excellent condition. 

Freshly setup with Elixirs and ready to play. Comes with hard case.
