Ensoniq ESQ1 Hybrid Poly Synth. The predecessor to the SQ80, the ESQ1 was Ensoniqs first synthesizer and featured 8 voices of digital waves paired with genuine analog CEM 3379 filters, 6 stage VCA and 3 LFOs! Add in a massive 8 track sequencer with over 24000 note storage and full MIDI implementation and these are still a formidable device in the modern studio. This is a Japanese market model so is housed in a different case compared to the US models, and lacks an expansion port for the sequencer expansion cartridge as these were installed at factory on these models. Comes with the E2PROM cartridge for storing up to 80 additional sounds. Unit runs V2.0 firmware but can be easily updated to V3.5 with a simple IC swap.

This unit runs on 240V and has been serviced with a new CMOS battery and battery holder. All keys and functions work great, however there are some buttons on the right side that double trigger which is a simple repair as the switches are still available.
