The Victor QL-Y33F, released in Japan in 1982 during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment, is a somewhat less well known direct drive turntable of with some of the finest engineering and tonality. 

Fully automatic mechanism with auto disc size detection. Speedtonearm position can be manually adjusted if you feel the need to.The tonearm is controlled horizontally by a linear motor, while the microprocessor controls the movement automatically. Anti-skating as well as low-frequency resonance noise elimination is implemented by the microcontroller. The drive system uses a coreless direct-drive motor, with a double servo quartz phase lock circuit. The QL-Y33F has some impressive stats, including an SNR of 80 dB (DIN-B) and wow and flutter of <0.015% (RMS, rotating part FG method). Additionally, the turntable has a handsome vintage design and excellent, precise construction.

This unit is in pristine condition and has either been used so little that it's been a box queen, or may have been nos when we received it. The original packaging is all there and the unit was wrapped as though it were never opened. Still has cardboard on the base. The only marks of note are some scratches near the hinges of the dust cover, one of the hinges spring mehcanisms has broken through the case but is repairable with some epoxy. Otherwise it's ready to make its way into your hifi setup. Being a Japanese domestic model, it is 100v only and will require a stepdown transformer. Transformer not included but available for purchase. Includes 45 adapter. Has original MC-100EB moving coil cartridge but the stylus has been damaged. The stylus can be replaced by sourcing a DT-100EB otherwise you can replace the whole cartridge.
