Roland Jazz Chorus JC55 (Used)

Roland Jazz Chorus JC55. A classic 80s model that took the tone of the JC120 and shrunk it down to an easily lugged single channel combo. With a single channel, unlike many other models of the era this is a true stereo model with dual 25W amplifiers and a pair of 8 inch speakers. This model has been given a new lease on life with a recap of the power supply and bringing the mains up to modern Australian standards for 240V operation. Just plug and play and immerse yourself in the lush chorus without the aching back. This model is also one of the few with two chorus settings, one fixed and one with variable controls. Go from mild to completely wild. The original speakers were replaced long ago with an upgraded pair of Jensens that are far more robust with a more guitar friendly frequency response. 

It's in excellent condition electrically and been given an overhaul by our in house service department. The exterior is covered in some kind of mystery residue that we've been unable to remove, resembling old gaff tape residue.
